Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook

This dialog is used to setup a mail source. This tells the program where the messages you want to use are found. The bottom portion of the dialog changes depending on the type of mail source selected. Described below is for setting a Microsoft Outlook folder as the Mail Source.

1Source Type

From the drop down list select "Microsoft Outlook" Once selected the bottom portion of this window will change and allow you to select an available folder.

2Use Profile

Use Profile
If you have multiple Outlook profiles you will want to check this box to tell the program you want a specific profile. If it is left un-checked Outlook will prompt you to select a profile when connecting to Outlook. If you only have one profile (most do) there is no reason to check this option.

3Outlook Profile Name

Here you enter the profile name if you have multiple Outlook profiles.

4Delete After Parsing

Delete messages after parsing: check this box if you want to automatically delete messages after they have been successfully parsed. Note caution using this option. Deleted messages are not retrievable after they are parsed.

5Prompt Before Deleting

Prompt Before Deleting
Check this box if you want to be prompted and allow you to choose whether or not the parsed messages is to be deleted. Note caution using this option. Deleted messages are not retrievable after they are parsed.

6Delete Un-Used Messages

Delete Un-Used Messages
Check this box if you want to delete messages that are not parsed because they do not match the filter criteria. Note caution using this option. Deleted messages are not retrievable after they are parsed.

7Outlook Folders

Outlook Folders
Here you select the Outlook folder you want to parse. Select the folder by clicking the folder name in the list.

8OK Button

OK Button
Click the OK button once you have selected the folder. The selection will be saved and this dialog will close.

9Cancel Button

Cancel Button
Click this button to close the dialog without saving any changes.
